I'm in an excellent mood.
I'm not sure why. maybe because I'm doing something interesting and challenging and useful (and at work! wow.)...I'm part of this R&D project involving a databased catalog module, and it's amazing just how hard it is to architect information. I mean, when you really really start to think about it. heuristics and biases fall apart, and you're forced into thinking about possibilities, contingencies, and where you have to compromise in a number of situations. even though I bought this book (with glowing recommendations) over 4 months ago, I'm thinking it's high time I start to read it.
